Custom Pyramid Tent Poles can be purchased in any length up to 72″ and can be used for your current tarp, shelter, replacement parts for broken poles, fisher-people poles, carrot danglers or bear spankers. These are non bending poles for MLD type Ultralight Shelters.

Poles can be 4 or 5 sections. Most Backpackers want 4 section and most Bikepackers want 5 section. Specify in the order comments. 4 Section is the most common and default option. 4 Section is slightly stronger due to less ferrule connections. Lengths over 60″ require a 5 Section.

After you select a Custom Size option above, please use the “Length Required” box to tell us the TOTAL length (in inches) you need your pole to be. You tell us the total length and we’ll calculate the section lengths with ferrules.

EX: 4 Section 46″ weighs approx 2.7oz
EX: 5 Section 52″ weighs approx 3.2oz
EX: 5 Section 72″ weighs approx 5.4 oz

Lengths over 60″ require a 5 Section.

Carbon Poles are not returnable. Custom orders can not be cancelled if the pole has already been built.

.5 Diameter 4 Section poles weight about .8oz per foot

EX: 4 Section 72″ -.5 diameter pole is about 4.8oz.

5 Section Poles increase the weight about 5%-10%.

Finished lengths are +/- .5″ lenght and +/- 10% in weight

If you decide you need a pole to be a bit shorter, you can do it yourself. It’s easy! Cut the (short) amount off the TOP of the pole.

HOW TO

1. Wrap the spot you want to cut it at with a few very tight wraps of cellophane tape.
2. Use a very fine tooth hacksaw blade to cut it. OR, if you have a diamond-toothed tile saw, that works great too!
3. Smooth the cut using sandpaper.
4. The cut end should be capped and should NOT be used for the pole jack unless the cut is very well done and flat, so the jack fits snugly.

Custom Poles are not returnable.

We do warranty the poles for one year against breakage due to material or assembly mistakes. We will repair the broken section only.

Warrantied for use with tarp and pyramid shelters similar to ours. No Battle Bot Drone Parts.

It is not covered if you step on the main tube, or the overall pole shows a lot of wear/use or user damage or your are using it for application it was clearly not designed or intended.
