Aquamira water treatment (Chlorine Dioxide) effectively kills bacteria, enhances the taste of treated water, and doesn’t discolor water like iodine does. This EPA registered chlorine dioxide formula has been proven to be effective in all types of water – muddy, clear, warm, or cold. One package can treat up to 30 gallons and it can be used anywhere in the world.

PRO TIP: Standard UL practice is to repackage the two liquids to save weight and then use a smaller MIX bottle with fresh A+B each day. In the morning, add 7 drops of A and 7 drops B per liter to be filtered that day to the MIX bottle. We like the Clear MIX bottle to visually confirm the A+B drops have been used and the mix has turned yellow, indicating its good to go. The mixture is good for about 24 hours and ready to go thought the day. In practice, you would only be using the pre-mix for about 16-18 hours before starting over the next morning. To preserve efficacy, keep the clear MIX bottle out of sunlight in a sack, pocket, etc. when not using. By doing this, you eliminate the need to wait 5 minutes for the mix to combine before adding to the water, each time you refill, which can save 10-20 minutes of treatment time per day letting you get in more mileage. NOTE: The A or B liquid alone is always clear; when you see yellow you can be sure A and B have been mixed vs. accidentally having added a double dose of A or B only.
