These strong tarp poles are made from 11mm diameter Cello Wrapped Carbon Fiber with extra thick carbon fiber ferrules. Each pole collapses to 16″ sections for easy transport for backpacking or bikepacking. Sections snap together with 1/8″ large cold weather resistant bungee cord for strength and long life. Bungee is user-replaceable. Ends are capped to be user-friendly and to help protect your gear. Can be used with our Pole Cups for easy guyline tie-offs.

PRO TIP: Don’t want to use Pole Cups? Wrap a ¾” X 1′ piece of duct tape on the poles at any height for a girth hitch guyline stop. (See Picture.)
